The Fall 2014 issue of the journal Brain World was released last week with an article, “Brain-STEM: Using Interdisciplinarity to Improve Our Minds and Our Schools,” which I wrote. The print version is in all Barnes and Noble bookstores, and the on-line version is available at:  http://brainworldmagazine.com/brain-stem/

In June of 2012, the National Science Teachers Association received the 2011 Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of American Publishers recognizing the September 2011 issue of Science and Children as the Best “One-Theme Issue” for an Education Journal in 2011. The Guest Editorial for this award-winning issue, “Minds, Models and Maps: Visualizing Science,” was written by Kenneth Wesson.
