Fall is in the air! The days are getting shorter and crisper. This week’s Tuesday Teaching Tip comes to us from Transitional Kindergarten teacher and former CKA Board Member, Heather Morrow’s classroom, where the leaves have been changing colors.
Heather shares with us that, “Students fingerprinted the paper yellow and then sprinkled red powdered tempera paint on and mixed the two together. After it dried, the students traced the leaf pattern and cut it out.”
We hope this tip helps bring a colorful burst of fall to your classroom! Looking for another way to decorate a tree for fall? Check out It’s Apple Time!
