Rockin' Kindergarten for over 30 years!

Go Away Big Green Monster!

Today’s Tuesday Teaching Tip comes to us from the amazing classroom of CKA Board Member and TK teacher, Michelle Jones. She shares this adorable art project just in time for Halloween!  She starts by reading this classic book.  Which, by the way, makes absolutely no mention of Halloween.  So if your district/school doesn’t celebrate, or if you have a child in your class who doesn’t, you’re still good!

After reading the book, Michelle has her students make a Big Green Monster of their own with pre-cut geometric and organic shapes.  Just look how cute they turned out!

Planning to scare away some big green monsters of your own?  Please share!  We’d love to see how they turned out!
