The days are growing shorter once again and the leaves are beginning to turn. Fall is in the air, which means Halloween is right around the corner. Today’s Tuesday Teaching Tip comes to us from Kindergarten teacher and CKA Board Member, Kimberly DeMille. Her tear art jack-o’-lanterns are great for building fine motor skills while also getting your class in a Halloween mood.
She shares with us that, “They tear the paper, then apply wet glue in a circle. Then they lay the torn paper on the glue. After that they tear the yellow and green and add those details.”
