We Have Our Head in the Clouds

Today’s Tuesday Teaching Tip comes to us from CKA Co-President and TK teacher extraordinaire, Debra Weller.  She shares that she has her students learn about clouds by reading a non-fiction book (like Cloudy Days (Welcome Books: Weather Report) and Eric Carle’s Little Cloud.  She then gives the children blue paper. They draw a shape with a pencil and then paint with white paint. She takes dictation as they describe their creation.  Debra suggests this makes an easy bulletin board!
