We hope you were able to join us for the PK1 conference this past weekend. It was a ton of fun and we learned so much! This week’s Tuesday Teaching Tip comes to us from former CKA Board Member and first grade teacher, Deb Meng. She shares with us this great idea for creating a special space in our classrooms.
“A two person tent in my classroom brought an added “exciting” option for workshop. Some days it was for reading and other days it was for puzzles or pattern blocks. I limit the number of students to four during workshop. They sign up in a notebook to take turns. I have also used it for supervised small group time. During those activities I have up to eight students and one adult.”
