The exhibit features artwork created by Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade students. The artwork needs to reflect a maximum contribution by the child and minimal adult modeling and involvement with projects made during the year. Class murals, collages, class quilts, masks, paintings, drawings, mobiles, stitchery, sculptures, puppets and more will be accepted. All teachers entering classroom artwork will be invited to a “white bag” breakfast in CKA hospitality suite on Saturday, January 14th.
Submit art for a chance of a free conference registration!
For each classroom art project you submit for CKA’s 2012 Young Children’s Art Exhibit, you will be entered in a drawing for FREE registration to the 30th Annual California Kindergarten Conference held January 14 and 15. If you are the winner and you’ve already paid for your registration, you may give the prize to a friend or use the free registration for a future conference.
What to do:
- Include both the information sheet and raffle ticket labels that are to accompany the artwork.
- If you are submitting multiple projects, reproduce the forms and attach them to each project you submit.
- Mail projects to: Pat Rees-Miller, 10 Bella Vista, Belvedere, CA 94920
The drawing for the free conference registration will be held on January 3, 2012.
