CKA Co-President Debra Weller shares this week’s Tuesday teaching tip with us. She gives her children a piece of construction paper, a pencil, glue, a Sharpie marker, crayons and dice. She instructs them to roll one die, and mark the number in pencil on the left side of the paper. Then they write the plus sign. Next, they roll the die and write the number on the right side of then paper followed by the equal sign. They trace the numbers with the marker. They count out the corresponding number of cotton balls to match the equation and glue them on the paper. Finally, they add heads, legs and grass.
