HeidiSongs are
sing along songs that teach, created by a Kindergarten teacher FOR teachers
to help meet the needs of PreK, TK, Kindergarten and First Grade
children! HeidiSongs is a multi-sensory program that is perfect for
children who are active learners and that love to sing and move. It
is a developmentally appropriate way to help young children learn the
Common Core State Standards through auditory, kinesthetic, visual, and
musical techniques. And best of all, kids LOVE it!

5th Annual SF Bay Area STEAM Colloquium
Full STEAM Ahead: Designing for Learning
Join over 300 educators for the 2015 SF Bay Area
STEAM Colloquium, on January 30, 2015, at the San Ramon Marriott.
This engaging day includes a keynote by Jeffrey Charbonneau, 2013 National
Teacher of the Year, over 35 breakout sessions engaging participants in
STEAM education and the STEAM resource fair and gallery showcasing
classroom activities, programs and resources for integrating STEAM. Strands
include Designing for Early Learning, Designing for the Future,
Designing for Leading and Designing for Integration.
CKA will be represented by 3 members of the Visual Arts Committee,
Zelda Le Frak, Stephanie Figula and Linda Becker, presenting ART Really
Teaches Across the Curriculum at the Colloquium's Gallery.
